Used Woodview Vet Clinic for a little over a year starting in May 2025. Our dog Koda had surgery to remove cancerous lumps that were related to her being intact and not spayed. We understood the risk of recurrence and proceeded with the surgery. A few weeks later, several hard lumps formed near the incision. We scheduled a follow-up visit but sat in the waiting room for nearly an hour with no update or communication from staff. Because we had to return to work, we were forced to leave and reschedule. When we attempted to reschedule, we were told the next available appointment was weeks out. During that time we visited two other veterinarians in the West Bend and Kewaskum area. Both examined the lumps and told us they appeared to be normal healing tissue. However, both also questioned why Koda had not been spayed during the tumor removal surgery to help prevent recurrence. When we called Woodview to ask about this, we were given no clear explanation and were simply told we would need to schedule another surgery for the spay. Recently Koda developed an ear infection after a grooming visit. Woodview was able to get us in the same day. A lab test was done that was expected to take about a week. In the meantime we were sold $45 ear drops and told to use them until results came back. Two days later we received a call saying the lab results had already returned and the drops we were sold would not work. We were told we needed to come back in for different drops and an additional oral medication. When I asked a simple question about why drops were recommended if they wouldn’t work, we only purchased these since we were told it would be a week until the results were in, not less than 48 hours. The doctor immediately became defensive, refused to discuss it, and told me to find another vet clinic. This was one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful interactions I have experienced with a small business. I would not recommend Woodview Vet Clinic.
